Learn how to write a novel or series of books set in a coastal or country setting.
Jessica Redland, international bestselling contemporary romance author, has created two beloved settings – one coastal and one in the country – to which readers would love to relocate to.
Jessica will explore how to create an engaging and memorable coastal or country setting. Referencing her own settings including the bestselling ‘Hedgehog Hollow’ and ‘Whitsborough Bay’ series, as well as those in other books, films and TV series, Jessica will explore the initial considerations around the suitability of the setting for your novel, how to develop the setting, the creation of appropriate characters and of a suitable plot.
The course will help you develop the skills to create a memorable coastal or country setting that your readers will fall in love with.
The course is held on-line and you can study in your own time during the month of the course. Any live events will be recorded for those unable to attend.
