From Zero to Hero (and Heroine)

£65.00

With Gina Hollands

This course will run in June 2021.

Learn how to build REAL, 3D people (not just characters!) from scratch.
When your characters are alive, they talk to you, show themselves to you and put their hands on their hips when you’re trying to shoehorn them into a plot or scene that just doesn’t fit. Get to know them, and they’ll help transform your writing.
Bring them to life, make them likeable, ensure your readers root for them, get to know them, establish what drives them, show their habits and traits, and make your readers mourn them when they finish the book as if they’ve lost a friend.

Tutor Bio

Originally from Yorkshire, Gina now lives by the sea in West Sussex with her husband and son. When she’s not working at her job in PR and copywriting, or writing her latest book, Gina can be found dancing everything from lindy hop to salsa, shopping (she loves clothes far too much for her own good), eating out (also far too much for her own good), or relaxing, which generally involves reading a book someone else has written or indulging in her new hobby of learning to play the piano. She has a sneaky suspicion she may be a musical genius in the making, but isn’t about to give up the day job just yet.

Gina has had three novels and three novellas published – all romances with a range of heat levels. She has also written fiction for Prima magazine and articles for Romance Matters. Her latest book, Little Village of Second Chances, published by Choc Lit, is out now.
