How to Write Romantic Comedy

Romantic comedy is a very popular genre, yet combining the highs and lows of a love story with jokes is a tricky business. This workshop will give you tips and ideas on how to write something with emotion and humour – and hopefully make you laugh along the way.

At the end of the course you will have learned several technique to nails the comedy to the page – including how to vary the timing of your joke, how to engineer comic situations and how to create a comic characters.
