Alison Rose Knight
Born in London, Alison lives in Somerset with her husband. She has worked as a legal executive, a registered child-minder, and a professional fundraiser. She spent a year in the US as a teenager, and has travelled extensively, including treks in China, Egypt, and Israel; and charity work in Thailand and Honduras. Her travels inspire a lot of her writing.
In 2011 she was awarded a first class honours degree in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University, and in 2013 she gained a master’s degree at Oxford Brookes University. She is now a writer, editor, proofreader and teacher of Creative Writing.
Her first two Alison Rose books are ‘Off the Record’ and ‘Rescue Me’. She also writes Young Adult time-slip adventures under the pen name Alison Knight, the first being ‘Rosie Goes to War’.
