I was born in Coventry but have lived most of my life in Sussex. I have worked as a bank clerk, cleaner, lorry driver, mechanic’s mate and in a call centre. I now work for the charity World In Need, changing lives in the developing world through education and development. I have been on assignments to Morocco and Kenya for them, but these days I mostly work in Head Office.
In my spare time, I love being with my family, football (watching, not playing), the sea, music, film and theatre, but my first love is books. I read at every opportunity and have so many my family have threatened an intervention. I’m secretary of the local youth football club, and active in my church. I joined the RNA in 2014.
I write Regency Romances. “Incognito”, my second book, was shortlisted for the RNA Historical Romantic Novel of the Year for 2016.
I also write plays and pantomimes, short stories and a weekly column for the local newspaper.
