Cara Cooper writes short stories, serials and novellas for People’s Friend and My Weekly and blogs at thepocketeers.blogspot.com.
She writes best first thing in the morning and has to struggle hard not to become a party pooper who goes to bed at 9pm in order to be up and writing at 4am! She has held various jobs from conference organiser to Diary Secretary for a Cabinet Minister. Places give her inspiration, from coastal hideaways to bustling cities. Her favourite city is her home town of London. She can often be found in Covent Garden consuming heart-racing quantities of caffeine whilst pretending to research Georgian London for her greatest work, the soon-to-be-written but not-quite-started historical novel.
Cara has had some great reviews and some absolute stinkers, but agrees with Oscar Wilde that the only thing worse than being talked about – is not being talked about.
