Claire Dyer is a novelist and poet from Reading. Her poetry collections, Eleven Rooms and Interference Effects are published by Two Rivers Press. Her novels, The Last Day, The Moment and The Perfect Affair and her short story Falling for Gatsby are published by The Dome Press and Quercus.

She has an MA in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London, teaches creative writing at literary and writers’ festivals and for Bracknell & Wokingham College, co-ordinates Poets’ Cafe, Reading’s longest-running poetry platform, is a regular panellist on BBC Radio Berkshire’s Radio Reads and runs Fresh Eyes, an editorial and critiquing service.
