Although Jill Barry has written one psychological suspense novel, her heroines don’t usually crawl across the floor with a huge dagger lodged between their shoulder blades!
A multi-published author of contemporary and historical fiction, Jill’s romantic novels have topped numerous Amazon charts and her short stories have won prizes and appeared in anthologies. She blames – sorry, credits – her late mum for her fascination with words and over the years since gaining an MA in Creative Writing, has enjoyed encouraging writers of all ages to unlock their imaginations.
While she’s unafraid to tackle serious issues in her writing, you can expect delicious food references and heroes who often possess eyelashes to sigh for.
Jill lives in Wales with her partner and has a son living in Melbourne. Each of her two visits to Australia has inspired her to write a new book. A member of the RNA for longer than she can remember, she’s delighted to be co-organiser of the Cariad group, who meet in Cardiff, also happily get together via Zoom.
