Lorna Read is the author of over 30 novels for all age-groups. She was born in Liverpool, studied English at Bangor University, North Wales and has worked as a rock music journalist and as editor of Loving, a romantic fiction magazine. She lives in West London.
Her historical romance, The Earl’s Captive, was inspired by her mother’s stories of how her ancestors once lived in a stately home but lost it in a game of cards.
Her latest release is Half A Rainbow, a romance with a hint of suspense set in a Cornish village.
