Lottie Cardew is the pen-name of Valerie-Anne Baglietto, who first joined the RNA in 1995 as a young girl (of twenty-four) and graduated from the NWS in 2000, scooping the New Writer’s Award.
Born during the Great Lockdown of early 2021, Lottie writes sparkly, heartstring-tugging, twisty-turny love stories with no mention of anything remotely resembling a pandemic. She lives in North Wales with her family, subdues the other members of Novelistas Ink into submission if they misbehave, and is a huge advocate of diversity and OwnVoices in fiction.
Lottie guarantees her books will have a HEA ending, and some might possibly have a tiny hint of magic. They will always be warm and witty (she hopes), and transport her readers to lovely places because everyone needs somewhere safe to escape to at times.
