Margaret Mounsdon began writing category romances for Heartline Books. She also writes short stories for various women’s magazines and has had over thirty novellas published by People’s Friend Pocket Novels and the My Weekly Story Collection. All these books are also available as ebooks on Amazon and in libraries in Large Print published by Thorpe.
Her first book Never Say Goodbye was published in 2001 and written under the pen name Clare Tyler. Never Say Goodbye was also short listed for the RNA New Writer’s Award Scheme.
Her varied career has included working for a barrister in London; as a bi-lingual secretary in Switzerland, Belgium and France; as a customer relations officer at Gatwick Airport for one of the major airlines, before she finally ended up in a nursing home for the elderly, on the front desk she hastens to add not as a resident.
All these jobs have provided a fertile breeding ground for the light romances she loves to write.
