Lover of cake, Dragonflies and France. Hater of calories, maths and snakes. Sue was born in Hertfordshire but had a nomadic childhood, moving often with her family, and for a time, did actually think her name was ‘The New Girl’. However, having lived in West Sussex all her adult life, it does feel like home and she does now know what her real name is!
In her previous life, aka before children, Sue worked in various secretarial/PA roles before admitting defeat at juggling a career with four tiddly-peeps, and left the world of paid employment to rediscover her love of writing.
Said tiddly-peeps are rather more grown up now and since then, Sue has come through the RNA’s New Writers’ Scheme, securing a publishing contract with Harper Collins’ romance imprint, Harper Impulse. Sue writes contemporary, suspense and time-slip novels, all with romance and a touch of danger.
Sue is proud to be part of ‘The Romaniacs’, an on-line writing group of romance writers, who offer no end of support and encouragement, not to mention copious amounts of laughter.
