I am thrilled to be shortlisted for the RoNAs. Romantic fiction is hugely popular and richly diverse and it is an honour to join the fabulous authors nominated for celebrating the genre.

Lisa Standbridge for Lonely in Paris:
I have no words! I’ve dreamt of this moment for a long time, but never thought it possible with how many other wonderful authors there are. I can’t tell you how honoured I am, and I am so proud of this moment. Thank you so much!

Kate Hardy for Temptted by the Fake Fiancé:
I’m thrilled to bits that my 100th novel for Mills & Boon has been shortlisted for the RNA Shorter Fiction Award. Hearing the news was particularly special as it was the day after my cardioversion and I was quite poorly at the time (and it was my birthday weekend!). Best get-well-soon present ever.

Laura Martin for The Housekeeper’s Forbidden Earl:
I am thrilled to be shortlisted for the RNA’s Shorter Romantic Novel Award. It is wonderful to be a part of such a prestigious celebration of romantic fiction, especially with my twenty-fifth book, The Housekeeper’s Forbidden Earl. When I started writing ten years ago I never imagined my journey would lead me here, in the company of so many other talented authors.
