Kelly Lacey: Love Books Group Blog
8 October 2018
This month’s featured book blogger is Kelly Lacey from Love Books Group.
Hi Kelly, welcome to the RNA blog. Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I am the founder of Love Books Group Blog. I live on the outskirts of Edinburgh with my two cats Pawkey and Poppet. My blog came to fruition in January 2017. It is now an everyday part of my life and I would be lost without it.
Love Books Group sounds like a team of reviewers – how did you end up working together? Do you ever meet up?
Love Books Group is my own blog, I get sent a lot of books and sometimes I ask the guest bloggers to help.
I see from your blog that you are active on Instagram. Can you tell us a little about that?
Bookstagram is a huge part of the Love Books Group brand, I won an award for best Bookstagram photo with Harper Collins earlier this year. It is one of my favourite things to prepare but it takes a lot of thought of time and so I don’t get to do it as much as I would like.
Tell us a bit about your review policy – what genres do you each review?
I review everything apart from horror or erotic fiction. We have a long waiting list at the moment for reviews.
Apart from book reviews, what other services do you offer?
I run successful book blog tours for authors. As well as social media and marketing for authors. Just lately I have started to be an author ambassador for a selection of authors.
You do author interviews and features on your blog. What do you like to see in a good guest interview?
You can tell by the answers if the interviewee is interested in the interview. The ones that are most popular are when the author is open and honest.
Do you ever read just for fun or do you review every book you read?
I review every book, I love to have a diverse choice of genres for my readers. There are so many books that I do want to read and I hope to do so over the next couple of month.
We often ask our guests what they consider to be the next “big thing” – what do you hope to see more of in 2018 – 2019?
The book blog tours have really taken off and I want to continue to help support and promote authors.
What’s the best way for authors to get in touch with you?

Thank you so much for joining us today, Kelly.
