Jean Fullerton – Salute to the Forties – Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September all day – Chatham Historic Dockyard, Chatham, Kent ME4 4TZ.

Re-enactments, vintage vehicles, live music and dancing – Jean will be there in her ARP uniform meeting readers and selling the odd book or two. Dig out your land girl or WAAF outfit and come and join her.

Jean Fullerton is the author of twenty sagas, including the popular WW2 RATION BOOK, set in East London. She is currently working on the third of her new Stepney Girls series. 


Jane Anderson – The Girl Who Fled the Picture – Tuesday 12th September at 7pm – The Edinburgh Bookshop (event held in Christ Church Centre, Edinburgh EH10 4DD).
