RNA Industry Awards: Finalists For Romantic Bookseller Of The Year 2023

The Romantic Novelists’ Association (RNA) is delighted to announce the shortlists for their annual Industry Awards for 2023. The awards celebrate the hard
work and talent of any person, group or organisation who has championed the broad genre of romantic fiction in a positive way.

Hungerford Bookshop is an award-winning independent bookshop in the historic market town of Hungerford, West Berkshire. At the very heart of its community it offers an active author event programme, as well as a passion for handselling books. Customers can enjoy a bespoke book subscription, as well as themed hampers and a wedding list service.
The bookshop says, ‘We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award. We believe that all genres of literature deserve equal attention; and it’s about matching the right book to the right person.’

Diss Publishing Bookshop is a thriving independent bookshop in Diss, Norfolk. It was incorporated in 1925 and we are proud of our long standing history. We lovingly supply books, presents and artist materials from our 3000 sqft shop. The shop has a cafe overlooking one of the largest meres in the country. The shop has 3 booksellers with a long history in the shop.
The bookshop says: ‘We are delighted to be nominated for this year’s Romantic Bookseller of the Year Award! We and our customers have really enjoyed events and visits from our locally based romantic fiction authors, and we so appreciate their support and giving back ours. We are super excited and honoured by this recognition and hope to carry home the trophy.’

The winners of the ten awards will be announced during the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Winter Party and Industry Awards ceremony, which is being held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City, 8-14 Cooper’s Row, London EC3N 2BQ, on Monday 13th November 2023 at 6.30pm.

This year’s awards are sponsored by ProWritingAid, a manuscript editing software programme with in-app video learning for writers.
