You’ve done the writing classes, bought the notebook and sharpened your pencil. Now, how do you come up with a plot for your next book? This fun, interactive session aims to teach how to generate ideas for engaging stories with a commercial edge. We will play around with writing prompts, romance tropes and explore the ‘way in’ to a story by starting with a character, a setting or that elusive ‘hook’. This is an interactive – and sociable – session where you can work alone or with the people around you. Suitable for writers at any stage, come with a notebook, pen and your imagination!
