The Romantic Novelists’ Association Conference 2024 Cancellation Policy

If a delegate has paid in full, please note that because of contractual obligations with the venue that the RNA are legally bound to, that we will only refund as follows:

• Up to 31st March 2024 you will forfeit 50% of the full balance paid.
• From 1st April to 30th April 2024 you will forfeit 60% of the full balance paid.
• From 1st May to 31st May 2024 you will forfeit 75% of the full balance paid.
• From 1 June no refunds will be given.

There will be no exceptions to these terms.

If an RNA member is paying by instalments, please note that the RNA has accepted your booking and granted you the right to pay the balance in instalments in good faith to help you, as a member benefit, to spread the cost. They have made a booking on your behalf with Royal Holloway University of London which they are financially liable for and assume that you intend to honour that booking by paying all your instalments in good faith too. Therefore, if you cancel before the full amount is paid, we are unable to refund any instalments you have made.

There will be no exceptions to these terms.

The RNA are not a licenced credit agency and so are unable to recoup any losses made on bookings that are not honoured in good faith for by the member. Therefore, we strongly recommend you take out your own business trip insurance to cover any losses you might make if you have to cancel your booking with us.

In the unlikely event that the RNA or Royal Holloway University of London cancel the 2024 Romantic Novelists’ Association Conference, you will, of course, be refunded in full all monies paid.
